Yesterday, Glen View's PTA hosted a fundraiser at Sky Zone. Many people had fun and we even had a very special visit from our gator mascot. During this morning's Coffee with the Principal, Mr. Lopez spoke to parents about different topic such as: *The LCAP survey and the importance of filling it out *Open House which will be on May 23rd *Last week's Writing Celebration at Bear Valley Middle School *The SmART festival on March 9th *CAASP Testing on the week of April 8th for 3-5th graders *The date for 5th grade Promotion and the Kindergarten Celebration which will be on June 4th Parents also asked many questions regarding reclassification. Mr. Lopez said that it is a ceremony that will be ocuring on May 23rd at 5 pm where they will be recognizing students that passed their English proficiency test. He also said that the parents of those students that have been reclassified will be notified by the school. We want to thank all of the parents that attended. Please stay tuned for updates from our Family Liaison to see when our next Coffee with the Principal will occur.
