Reclassified Students holding their certificates from the 2022 Celebration

It’s been THREE LONG YEARS since Lincoln School opened its doors for our families to showcase student work at our annual Open House. I must admit, it was a beautiful moment for me to see for the first time since joining the Lincoln Family.

A huge shout out to our teachers for opening up their classroom doors and making our learning zones shine… and our families proud! A giant THANK YOU to our support staff and volunteers supervising, selling treats, and setting up beautiful events. Rumor has it that the popcorn line hit an all-time record this year!

We rounded out the evening with our Reclassification Ceremony (kudos to Sandy for the the “same night as Open House” idea!) I must admit that, of all the Reclassification ceremonies I’ve hosted/attended, this one was exceptional. It was amazingly organized and well-prepared; everything went off without a hitch. Not only am I proud of our students and their hard work, but I am also proud of our own community of hard-workers and parents that helped make this evening so special. REALLY special.

Just thought I’d share some data… RESULTS, if you will… of our wonderful evening. Check out those beautiful smiles! Behind my camera were dozens of families, smiling and beaming with pride, as they watched dedication and hard work pay off. 🙂 #MakingOurLincolnFamilyProud
